New Work New Owner New FOOD!!!
Published 1 year, 2 months ago in My life.Hi all - dropped into the Blue Turtle this morning with 3 new mandalas for display (the others had been there for too long) and met the new proprietor of the cafe - the wonderfully creative and energetic Marianna! We spent some time over a latte to talk about the new direction the cafe was headed in and it sounds fantastic!
Marianna wants to bring city sophistication to the suburbs without the high rise prices. Her anticipated changes to the menu bought about much drooling on my behalf - the introduction of local produce and wines with the opportunity of tastings really caught my interest. Plus - the Blue Turtle will be opening in the later part of the week for dinner! And just in time for my birthday! Excellent - no cooking that night for me!

And…………….should we guess where it is??? LOL I seem to remember its in Lilydale……..which end?
Oh blame the ageing brain! LOL! Yep, its Main Street Lilydale, just near the RSL memorial, on the corner topside.
